Jody Jones Shirley graduated from Eckerd College in 1995, majoring in Business and Health Care Administration, is a Florida licensed Real Estate Broker and President of JoMar Real Estate Services, Inc., a full service commercial real estate firm specializing in industrial/office/retail sales, leasing, and development. She also holds a Florida Certified Building Contractors license.

Ms. Shirley and her husband Brad Shirley are activity involved in real estate development specializing in Commercial and Industrial development. Much of their development has been through out Florida and the southeast.

Ms. Shirley has experience in requesting and securing Future Land Use Amendments in both Pinellas and Pasco Counties, and has oversight in rezoning and/or adoption of planned unit developments districts, site plans, and permitting and construction of numerous projects. She has also been involved in marketing proposals as well as sale and leasing of finished product. Jody Jones Shirley is an active member of the Pinellas Board of Realtors, Florida Gulf Coast Board of Realtors, Commercial Real Estate Woman, CCIM Institute, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. She has been appointed to the City of Belleair Beach, Florida, Planning Board and is the 2007 FGCAR Pinnacle Award winner.
